Training Cancellation, Refunds, and Transfers Policy

To ensure the highest quality training experience, PrivacyWorks applies the below policy for all live training and IAPP training sessions.

If you wish to cancel your registration:

  • This request must be received in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the training date to receive a full refund of any fees paid or to transfer your registration to a future training session.
  • Cancellations requests received in writing less than thirty (30) days prior to the training date may be transferred to another participant or future training session (subject to availability), at no additional cost. Alternatively, these cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee, be non‑refundable, or transferrable at PrivacyWorks’ discretion.

PrivacyWorks reserves the right to cancel a training session at its discretion, including where the minimum number of participant registrations required for the session is not met or for any other operational, scheduling, or unforeseen reason.

In the event that PrivacyWorks cancels a training session, PrivacyWorks will provide registered participants with at least thirty (30) days' written notice prior to the scheduled training date, unless circumstances beyond its reasonable control make such notice impracticable.

Upon cancellation, registered participants will have the option to:

  • Receive a full refund of all fees paid for the cancelled training session; or
  • Transfer their registration to a future training session, subject to availability.

PrivacyWorks is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants (e.g., travel, accommodation, or other costs).

Changes to Program

PrivacyWorks reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the training program, including changes to speakers, venue, or schedule, if necessary.
